Senator the Honourable Dr. Amery Browne, Minister of Foreign and CARICOM Affairs, met with His Excellency Rodolfo Sabonge, Secretary General of the Association of Caribbean States (ACS) at the Ministry’s headquarters on 30th January, 2023.
Discussions focused on the recently concluded external audit of the ACS. Also discussed were the upcoming meetings of the ACS including the 28th Ministerial Conference and the 9th Summit of ACS Heads of Government in May 2023, in which Trinidad and Tobago is expected to participate.
Minister Browne thanked the Secretary General for the work done by the Secretariat during the last two years of his tenure. Both parties underscored their commitment to working together to improve the ACS and enhance its work throughout the Caribbean region in the future.
