About Us

The Embassy of the Republic of Trinidad and Tobago in the People’s Republic of China was officially opened on February 26, 2014 by the Honourable Kamla Persad-Bissessar, former Prime Minister of the Republic of Trinidad and Tobago. The Embassy is also accredited to the Republic of Korea, Malaysia, the Kingdom of Thailand, Brunei Darussalam, the Kingdom of Cambodia, the Socialist Republic of Vietnam, and the Republic of the Philippines.

The Embassy processes applications for Trinidad and Tobago visas made by Chinese and other foreign nationals, and facilitates applications for renewals of machine-readable Trinidad and Tobago passports for nationals of the Republic of Trinidad and Tobago.

Business Facilitation Services商务促进服务

The Embassy provides support to Trinidad and Tobago business interests in doing business in the People’s Republic of China, and vice versa.

Information on Chinese Visas, Work and Residence Permits关于中国签证、在华工作及居住许可的信息

Nationals of the Republic of Trinidad and Tobago travelling on ordinary passports to mainland China are required to obtain Chinese visas to enter and exit the People’s Republic of China.

The State Administration of Foreign Experts Administration (SAFEA) is responsible for certifying foreign experts to work in the Chinese mainland.

According to Chinese law, foreigners working or studying in China are required to apply for Chinese Residence Permits within 30 days after entry into the territory of the People’s Republic of China.

特立尼达和多巴哥共和国公民持普通护照在中国大陆出入境须申请中华人民共和国签证。

中华人民共和国国家外国专家局负责审批管理来中国大陆工作的外国专家。

根据中国法律，在华工作或学习的外国人须在入境中华人民共和国30天内申请中国居留许可。
