On 28th June 2026, 37 Trinidad and Tobago nationals, including members of the Table Tennis Association, returned from the Bolivarian Republic of Venezuela following the recent Double seismic event on 24th June 2026.
Through the intervention of the Honourable Sean Sobers, Minister of Foreign and CARICOM Affairs, their return was facilitated by the Embassy of the Republic of Trinidad and Tobago in Caracas and its team, led by Mr. Dayne-Marc Chin Slick, Chargé d’Affaires a.i.
