Mrs. Jennifer Daniel, Permanent Secretary (Ag.) of the Ministry of Foreign and CARICOM Affairs, received His Excellency Fernando Teles Fazendeiro, Ambassador-designate of the Portuguese Republic to the Republic of Trinidad and Tobago for a courtesy call on Friday 21st October, 2015.
Mrs. Daniel warmly welcomed Ambassador-designate Fazendeiro to Trinidad and Tobago and expressed her anticipation of continued collaboration with the Portuguese Republic. Discussions focussed on the historical ties between the people of Trinidad and Tobago and the people of the Portuguese Republic.
Ambassador-designate Fazendeiro presented his Letters of Credence to His Excellency Anthony Thomas Aquinas Carmona ORTT, S.C., President of the Republic of Trinidad and Tobago following the courtesy call with Permanent Secretary (Ag.) Mrs. Jennifer Daniel.
His Excellency Fazendeiro is resident in Caracas, Venezuela.
