Her Excellency Tracy Davidson-Celestine presents credentials to His Excellency Luis Guillermo Solis, President of the Republic of Costa Rica

The Ministry of Foreign and CARICOM Affairs is pleased to advise that on 26th April, 2017, Her Excellency Tracy Davidson-Celestine, Ambassador of the Republic of Trinidad and Tobago to Costa Rica presented Credentials to His Excellency Luis Guillermo Solis, President of the Republic of Costa Rica.

During her meeting with President Solis following the Ceremony of the Presentation of Credentials, Ambassador Davidson-Celestine emphasized that deepening relations with Costa Rica and the rest of Central America was high on the developmental agenda for Trinidad and Tobago. Her Excellency also highlighted that the Embassy of the Republic of Trinidad and Tobago in Costa Rica will continue to actively pursue cooperation with Costa Rica in the key areas of trade, culture, sport, health and tourism.

President Solis indicated that Costa Rica was keen to regenerate and strengthen its relationship with Trinidad and Tobago, and expressed strong agreement with Ambassador Davidson-Celestine, on Trinidad and Tobago’s move to deepen Caribbean-Central America relations.

Trinidad and Tobago established diplomatic relations with the Republic of Costa Rica on 1971.
