Minister of Foreign and CARICOM Affairs Senator the Honourable Dr. Amery Browne, held critical and strategic discussions with his Excellency Rodolfo Sabonge, Secretary General of the Association of Caribbean States (ACS) on Friday 13th May, 2022.
The meeting was a timely opportunity for the Minister and Secretary General to address issues related to operations at the Secretariat, for which Trinidad and Tobago is host country, and strategies for the further development of the organisation, to secure the best outcomes of its activities for the benefit of member States and the region.
The exchange was in-depth and focused, and concluded with the Minister and Secretary General committing to continue such engagement on matters pertinent to Trinidad and Tobago’s relationship with the Secretariat as host country and to follow up on the issues and proposals discussed during Friday’s meeting.
