Senator the Honourable Dr. Amery Browne, Minister of Foreign and CARICOM Affairs, met with Mr. Shante Moore, U.S. Embassy Chargé d’Affaires a.i. on the morning of 4th August, 2022, at the Ministry’s headquarters.
Among the matters discussed during the meeting were the 21st July release of the United States Department of State 2022 Trafficking in Persons (TIP) Report and the ongoing negotiations toward the renewal of a long-standing bilateral security agreement between Trinidad and Tobago and the United States of America.
The dialogue was very productive with both parties exchanging views and committing to continued cooperation on key matters of mutual interest.
