Senator the Honourable Dr. Amery Browne, Minister of Foreign and CARICOM Affairs engaged in bilateral talks with His Excellency Victor Verdún, Vice Minister of Foreign Affairs of the Republic of Paraguay on March 01, 2024.
Both parties expressed the willingness to soon finalize and sign an Agreement on the Waiver of Visa Requirements for the Holders of Diplomatic, Official and Ordinary Passports. Such Agreement would allow bearers of such passports issued by Trinidad and Tobago to enter, transit, stay or leave Paraguay without the need for a visa, for a period not exceeding ninety (90) days and vice-versa.
The bilateral talks occurred in the margins of the VIII Summit of Heads of State and Government in Saint Vincent and the Grenadines on March 01, 2024.
