Senator the Honourable Dennis Moses, Minister of Foreign and CARICOM Affairs bid farewell to His Excellency Gérard Latulippe, High Commissioner for Canada at a luncheon hosted in his honour, on Friday 5th August, 2016. Minister Moses expressed appreciation to High Commissioner Latulippe for his invaluable contribution towards strengthening and deepening the strong and fruitful diplomatic relationship between Trinidad and Tobago and Canada during his stewardship.
Senator the Honourable Dennis Moses reiterated Trinidad and Tobago’s commitment to the diplomatic relations as he gave the assurance that High Commissioner Latulippe’s successor will receive the same level of collaboration and active engagement to pursue the Trinidad and Tobago and Canada bilateral agenda.
High Commissioner Latulippe expressed his gratitude to the Government and People of the Republic of Trinidad and Tobago for their warm welcome. He also stated that the highlights of his tour of duty in Trinidad and Tobago were the people, the beautiful beaches, the music and the rainforest. He further stated that his Government will be committed to continue strengthening bilateral relations with Trinidad and Tobago.
