Minister Dennis Moses holds talks to strengthen bilateral relations with the United States of America

PORT OF SPAIN: 27TH NOVEMBER, 2017  

Senator the Honourable Dennis Moses, Minister of Foreign and CARICOM Affairs welcomed Mr. Bradley Freden, Director of the Office of Caribbean Affairs, Bureau of Western Hemisphere Affairs, United States Department of State at the Ministry of Foreign and CARICOM Affairs on 14th November, 2017.  

During the meeting, Minister Moses and Mr. Freden focussed on areas to further strengthen bilateral relations between Trinidad and Tobago and the United States of America.  Discussions were cordial and included enhancing cooperation activities as well as areas for continued collaboration, particularly in the fields of security, the fight against drugs and the arms trade. 

The meeting ended with both parties affirming their commitment to furthering cooperation in areas of mutual interest for the benefit of both countries. Mr. Freden was accompanied to the meeting by Mr. Dexter Payne, Acting Deputy Chief of Mission, Embassy of the United States of America and Mr. Jason Hammontree, Political Officer, Embassy of the United States of America.
