Senator the Honourable Dennis Moses, Minister of Foreign and CARICOM Affairs, received Mr. Hilton Mitchell, Honorary Consul to the Republic of Trinidad and Tobago in Ghana, on Tuesday 15 December, 2015.
Since his appointment to the position of Honorary Consul in 2008, Mr. Mitchell has worked assiduously to strengthen the cultural and socio economic ties between Trinidad and Tobago and Ghana. He also actively provides support to Trinidad and Tobago diaspora in Ghana.
During the courtesy call, there was an exchange of views on areas for further cooperation between Trinidad and Tobago and Ghana. Specific areas which were highlighted during the meeting included energy, trade, culture and tourism.
