Senator the Honourable Dr. Amery Browne, Minister of Foreign and CARICOM Affairs held bilateral talks with the Honourable Pat Conroy MP, Minister for Defence Industry and Minister for International Development and the Pacific of the Commonwealth of Australia, today, 23rd June, 2022. The meeting took place in the margins of the Commonwealth Heads of Government Meeting being held in Kigali, Rwanda, from 20th to 25th June, 2022.
Minister Browne and Minister Conroy engaged in fruitful discussions on a number of topics including Trinidad and Tobago - Australia relations, foreign policy, investment and development cooperation.
The discussions were very cordial and ended with both Ministers agreeing to strengthen the bilateral relationship between both countries.
