Senator the Honourable Dr. Amery Browne, Minister of Foreign and CARICOM Affairs, met with Her Excellency Natalie Campbell-Rodriques, High Commissioner for Jamaica to Trinidad and Tobago, during a meeting on 21st November, 2023 at the Ministry’s headquarters.
The Minister and the High Commissioner reaffirmed the strong ties and history of cooperation that exist between their two countries and their intention to cooperate on areas of mutual interest within regional and multilateral bodies. Discussions also focused on the High Commissioner’s recent appointment, presentation of Credentials and interest to engage in possible avenues for Jamaica-Trinidad and Tobago collaboration in the areas of textiles, athletics and community youth development.
Both officials underscored their commitment to working together to improve Trinidad and Tobago-Jamaica relations and enhance collaborative work in the future during the High Commissioner’s tenure in Trinidad and Tobago.
