The two gentlemen discussed Counter Terrorism Efforts and explored areas to strengthen cooperation.

Meeting of Foreign Ministers of Alliance of Small Island States (AOSIS) member countries, hosted by Sameh Shoukry, Minister of Foreign Affairs of the Arab Republic of Egypt at the Permanent Mission of Egypt to United Nations on September 23, 2022. Minister Shoukry is also President-Designate of COP27.
Senator the Honourable Dr. Amery Browne, Minister of Foreign and CARICOM Affairs, at the Meeting between AOSIS member countries and the Foreign Minister of Egypt, President-Designate of COP27. Minister Browne exhorted colleagues, “This is not the time for us to be stepping back, but for us to redouble our efforts. COP27 is coming at a critical moment.”
