Senator the Honourable Dr. Amery Browne, Minister of Foreign and CARICOM Affairs met with His Excellency Kareem Essameldin Amin, Ambassador of the Arab Republic of Egypt, on 5th April, 2024, at the headquarters of the Ministry of Foreign and CARICOM Affairs.
Discussions during the meeting provided the opportunity for updates on potential collaborative activities between Trinidad and Tobago and Egypt, particularly in the field of culture. Minister Browne and Ambassador Amin also discussed international issues, such as climate change financing and the ongoing war in Gaza.
