Senator the Honourable Dr. Amery Browne, Minister of Foreign and CARICOM Affairs, visited the Apostolic Nunciature of the Holy See (Vatican City) on 5th January, 2023 to sign the condolence book opened in honour of Pope Emeritus Benedict XVI who passed away on 31st December, 2022.
Minister Browne conveyed the profound sadness of the Government and People of the Republic of Trinidad and Tobago on the passing of Pope Emeritus Benedict XVI to His Excellency The Most Reverend Santiago De Wit Guzmán, Apostolic Nuncio of the Holy See.
