Senator the Honourable Dr. Amery Browne, Minister of Foreign and CARICOM Affairs, visited the Embassy of the Federative Republic of Brazil on 5th January, 2023 to sign the condolence book opened in honour of Edson Arantes do Nascimento, globally known as Pelé, who passed away on 29th December, 2022.
Minister Browne conveyed the deepest sympathies of the Government and People of the Republic of Trinidad and Tobago on the passing of Pelé to His Excellency Rodrigo do Amaral Souza, Ambassador of the Federative Republic of Brazil.
