The Ministry of Foreign and CARICOM Affairs wishes to advise the public on the closure of its office from 12:00 noon today, Tuesday 25th August, 2020 upon being notified of an employee testing positive for COVID-19. The employee’s last day at work was Friday 14th August, 2020.
Immediate steps have been taken to sanitize the Ministry located at St. Clair Circle, St. Clair, this afternoon.
The Ministry has been observing all the necessary Ministry of Health guidelines and protocols for the avoidance of the spread of COVID-19 including, the regular sanitization of frequently touched surfaces, wearing of mask while on the premises, hand sanitization stations throughout the building and the testing of temperature of each person entering the building.
Office operations at the Ministry of Foreign and CARICOM Affairs will resume on Wednesday 26th August, 2020.
