PRIME MINISTER ROWLEY AND DELEGATION ARRIVE IN JAMAICA
Prime Minister of Trinidad and Tobago Dr. the Honourable Keith Rowley touched down at the Norman Manley International Airport, Jamaica earlier today to commence an official four-day visit.
Accompanying Prime Minister Rowley were his wife Mrs Sharon Clarke Rowley, Minister of Foreign and CARICOM Affairs Senator the Honourable Dennis Moses, Minister in The Ministry of the Attorney General and Office of the Prime Minister the Honourable Stuart Young, Chief Secretary of the Tobago House of Assembly, Mr Orville London and Mrs London and Member of Parliament the Honourable Prakash Ramadhar.
At the Airport Prime Minister Rowley inspected a Guard of Honour before being greeted by the Prime Minister of Jamaica the Most Honourable Andrew Holness and Mrs Holness; Dr Morais Guy, representing the Leader of the Opposition the Most Honourable Portia Simpson Miller; Minister of Foreign and Foreign Trade Senator the Honourable Kamina Johnson Smith and other high ranking Government officials and dignitaries.
Prime Minister Holness introduced Prime Minister Rowley to the welcoming party from Jamaica and Dr Rowley in turn made the introductions of the Trinidad and Tobago delegation to Prime Minister Holness.
The Trinidad and Tobago High Commissioner to Jamaica, His Excellency Mr Fitzgerald Jeffery was also on hand to welcome the delegation and accompanied the group on a visit to the Trinidad and Tobago High Commission in Jamaica. The delegation was able to meet the staff of the High Commission and were also treated to a guided tour.
