Prime Minister Rowley holds Bilateral Talks with the Prime Minister of Jamaica

Prime Minister Dr. Keith Rowley continued his four day official visit to Jamaica today with a courtesy call on Jamaica’s Governor General, His Excellency The Most Honourable Sir Patrick Allen, and his wife The Most Honourable Lady Allen at King's House, Kingston Jamaica today (Monday 18th July, 2016).


This was followed by another courtesy call, this time on The Prime Minister of Jamaica, the Most Honourable Andrew Holness at the Office of the Prime Minister. After exchanging gifts the leaders with their respective delegations went straight into a bilateral meeting which is expected to end around 4:00 PM.


The agenda for the bilateral meeting includes the implementation of the CSME, immigration issues between the two nations, energy, trade cooperation and consular matters. It is anticipated that a joint communiqué and press conference will be held after the bilateral meeting is completed.
