Prime Minister Rowley travels to Houston for Energy talks


Prime Minister, Dr. the Honourable Keith Rowley will travel to Houston, Texas on Wednesday 29 2017 for several rounds of energy talks with leading companies in the industry.

He will be accompanied by Minister in the Office of the Prime Minister and Minister in the Office of the Attorney General and Legal Affairs, the Honourable Stuart Young.

The visit, which is expected to end on Friday, 31 2017, will include meetings with four energy companies – BP Amoco, Shell, Exxon Mobil and EOG Resources.

The discussions will centre around strategies for navigating the challenges facing the energy sector and opportunities for growth and partnerships here at home and in the region.

In Dr. Rowley’s absence Minister of Finance, the Honourable Colm Imbert will act as Prime Minister.
