Senator the Honourable Dennis Moses, Minister of Foreign and CARICOM Affairs met with the Honourable Gebran Bassil, Foreign Minister of Lebanon during a courtesy call on 26th November, 2016 at the Ministry of Foreign and CARICOM Affairs.
During the discussions the ministers exchanged cordial greetings and discussed areas of mutual interest. These areas included the deepening of trade relations between the two countries as well as multilateral cooperation. Minister Moses also alluded to the shared values of both countries which included the preservation of democracy and the defense of Human Rights.
Minister Bassil agreed with his counterpart and stated that he had met with Nationals of Lebanon living in Trinidad and Tobago and thanked the people of Trinidad and Tobago for hosting his Nationals.
