Senator the Honourable Dennis Moses, Minister of Foreign and CARICOM Affairs held a meeting with His Excellency Jorge Alberto Arreaza Monsterrat, Minister of the People’s Power for Foreign Affairs of the Bolivarian Republic of Venezuela at the Ministry of Foreign and CARICOM Affairs on 1st November, 2017.
During the meeting, Minister Moses and Minister Arreaza focussed on areas to further strengthen bilateral relations between Trinidad and Tobago and Venezuela. Discussions centred on areas for continued and potential cooperation, particularly in the fields of trade, energy and transport.
The meeting ended cordially with both Minister Moses and Minister Arreaza indicating their commitment to furthering cooperation in areas of mutual interest for the benefit of both countries.
Minister Arreaza was accompanied to the meeting by Her Excellency Coromoto Godoy, Ambassador the Bolivarian Republic of Venezuela to Trinidad and Tobago; Mr. Edwin Rojas, Governor of the Venezuela State of Sucre, Mrs. Lizeta Hernández Abchi, Governor of the Venezuela State of Delta Amacuro, and other members of the visiting delegation of Venezuela.
