With reference to the Ministry’s earlier media release regarding the anticipated arrival of WHO-approved Johnson & Johnson COVID-19 vaccines for Trinidad and Tobago, via the African Medical Supplies Platform (AMSP), the Minister of Foreign and CARICOM Affairs has received updated information from the freight airline of a flight delay affecting the scheduled arrival.
As a consequence of this delay, the shipment of Johnson & Johnson vaccines previously scheduled to arrive in Trinidad and Tobago at 7:00 p.m. on Thursday 19 August 2021 is now scheduled to arrive at 7:00 a.m. on Friday 20 August 2021.
