The Consulate General of the Republic of Trinidad and Tobago in Toronto is headed by a Consul General who has jurisdiction for matters within the province of Ontario.

The Consulate General’s mandate is to actively promote and stimulate trade, investment and tourism for the benefit of the Republic of Trinidad and Tobago; promote our country’s cultural exports; provide immigration services on behalf of nationals of Trinidad and Tobago and to foreign nationals; as well as provide consular services to nationals of Trinidad and Tobago resident in Ontario. Payments to Trinidad and Tobago pensioners and national scholars in Ontario are also an important part of our mandate.

REGISTRATION SYSTEM FOR NATIONALS ABROAD (RSNA)

The Registration System for Nationals Abroad (RSNA) is a free service provided by the Ministry of Foreign and CARICOM Affairs for Trinidad and Tobago nationals travelling overseas or living outside of Trinidad and Tobago. The details you provide when you register will help our embassy and crisis staff to contact you and provide better assistance in an emergency such as a natural or man-made disaster or civil disturbance.

Trinidad and Tobago nationals travelling or residing abroad should register at the nearest Trinidad and Tobago Overseas Mission, particularly in countries with a risk of natural disasters or which are undergoing a period of unrest. The purpose of this register is to enable the Mission to identify and locate nationals in cases of emergency as well as provide assistance for nationals in situations of need.

DIASPORA REGISTRATION

The Consulate General of the Republic of Trinidad and Tobago in Toronto is mandated to develop and strengthen the linkages between the Government of Trinidad and Tobago and the Trinidad and Tobago Diaspora, with a view to building relationships and encouraging participation in all aspects of national development. In a targeted effort to establish contact with members of the Trinidad and Tobago diaspora in the Province of Ontario, the Consulate has developed a database and we need your help to fill the information on the form found at the following link: Click here.
