Senator the Honourable Dr. Amery Browne, Minister of Foreign and CARICOM Affairs, and His Excellency Fang Qiu, Ambassador of the People’s Republic of China, officially launched the Logo created in honour of the 50th Anniversary of the Establishment of Diplomatic Relations between the Republic of Trinidad and Tobago and the People’s Republic of China. The official launch took place on 23rd April, 2024 at the headquarters of the Ministry of Foreign and CARICOM Affairs.
Events held thus far in commemoration of the milestone anniversary were the Chinese Spring Festival Temple Fair and the China Film Festival. A Visual Arts Competition for primary and secondary school students was launched on 22nd April, 2024. The commemorative logo will be featured at commemorative events being held in Trinidad and Tobago and in China.
