MINISTER OF FOREIGN AND CARICOM AFFAIRS MEETS WITH AMBASSADOR-DESIGNATE OF THE REPUBLIC OF ANGOLA

Senator the Honourable Dr. Amery Browne, Minister of Foreign and CARICOM Affairs, received a Courtesy Call from His Excellency Agostinho De Carvalho Dos Santos Van-Dúnem, Ambassador-designate of the Republic of Angola to the Republic of Trinidad and Tobago resident in Washington, D.C., United States of America, on 23rd July, 2024 at the headquarters of Ministry of Foreign and CARICOM Affairs. 

This Courtesy Call took place prior to Ambassador-designate Van-Dúnem’s presentation of his Letters of Credence to Her Excellency Christine Carla Kangaloo, O.R.T.T., President of the Republic of Trinidad and Tobago and Commander-in-Chief of the Armed Forces. 

Minister Browne warmly welcomed Ambassador-designate Van-Dúnem to Trinidad and Tobago and congratulated him on his appointment as the Ambassador of Angola to Trinidad and Tobago. Minister Browne and Ambassador-designate Van-Dúnem discussed areas of potential cooperation between their respective countries in the areas of energy, tourism and culture towards strengthening relations between Trinidad and Tobago and Angola.
