MINISTER OF FOREIGN AND CARICOM AFFAIRS MEETS WITH HER EXCELLENCY CANDACE A. BOND, AMBASSADOR OF THE UNITED STATES OF AMERICA TO THE REPUBLIC OF TRINIDAD AND TOBAGO

Senator the Honourable Dr. Amery Browne, Minister of Foreign and CARICOM Affairs, met with Her Excellency Candace A. Bond, Ambassador of the United States of America (U.S.) to the Republic of Trinidad and Tobago, on Wednesday 18th September, 2024, at the offices of the Ministry of Foreign and CARICOM Affairs in St. Clair.

Discussion focused on the travel advisories previously issued by the U.S. Government. Other matters of mutual interest between Trinidad and Tobago and the United States were discussed, including consular matters pertaining to the issuance of U.S. visas to Trinidad and Tobago nationals.

The discussions were notably informative and fruitful, at the end of which Minister Browne reaffirmed the Ministry’s commitment to facilitating the engagement between the Government of the Republic of Trinidad and Tobago and the Government of the United States of America, in the best interest of both nations.
