MINISTER OF FOREIGN AND CARICOM AFFAIRS MEETS WITH HIS EXCELLENCY ABDULLAH MUHAMMAD ALSAIHANI, AMBASSADOR-DESIGNATE OF THE KINGDOM OF SAUDI ARABIA TO THE REPUBLIC OF TRINIDAD AND TOBAGO

Senator the Honourable Dr. Amery Browne, Minister of Foreign and CARICOM Affairs, received His Excellency Abdullah Muhammad Alsaihani, Ambassador-designate of the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia to the Republic of Trinidad and Tobago, during a Courtesy Call on 17th September, 2024 at the Ministry of Foreign and CARICOM Affairs.

Minister Browne warmly welcomed Ambassador-designate Alsaihani to Trinidad and Tobago, highlighting recent efforts to strengthen and deepen the bilateral relationship. The discussion between Minister Browne and Ambassador-designate Alsaihani included an exploration of avenues for the enhancement of bilateral relations between Trinidad and Tobago and Saudi Arabia, building on the momentum that exists to further coordination between both countries in areas of mutual interest. 

The courtesy call took place prior to the Presentation of Credentials of Ambassador-designate Alsaihani to Her Excellency Christine Carla Kangaloo ORTT, President and Commander-in-Chief of the Armed Forces of the Republic of Trinidad and Tobago. Following his Presentation of Credentials, Ambassador Alsaihani will serve as the Ambassador of the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia to Trinidad and Tobago, resident in Caracas, Venezuela.
