Minister of Foreign and CARICOM Affairs presents Exequatur to the newly appointed Honorary Consul for the Republic of Costa Rica

On Friday 30th June, 2023, Professor Sterling Kenrick Frost was presented with his Exequatur by Senator the Honourable Dr. Amery Browne, Minister of Foreign and CARICOM Affairs, during a ceremony at the Ministry’s headquarters in Port-of-Spain. This confirms Professor Frost’s appointment as Honorary Consul for the Republic of Costa Rica in Trinidad and Tobago.

During the ceremony, Minister Browne highlighted the rich history of connection between Trinidad and Tobago and Costa Rica, including the history of trade linkages, travel and tourism between both countries. The Minister emphasized that the Government of Trinidad and Tobago values its relationship with Costa Rica and that Professor Frost’s appointment represents an opportunity to continue to expand that relationship.

Minister Browne also congratulated Professor Frost on being awarded The Order of the Republic of Trinidad and Tobago, the nation’s highest honour, in 2022, based on his distinguished and outstanding Service in the spheres of Banking, Education and Community Service. He welcomed Professor Frost to the cohort of Honorary Consuls in Trinidad and Tobago and expressed his confidence that Professor Frost would enrich and richly contribute to the community.
