Senator the Honourable Dr. Amery Browne, Minister of Foreign and CARICOM Affairs, received Ms. Aché Abrahams, Trinidad and Tobago’s Miss World Caribbean representative. Ms. Abrahams was accompanied by her mother, Mrs. Camille Selvon Abrahams.
During the Courtesy Call, Ms. Abrahams informed that she has been recognised by Most Influential People of African Descent (MIPAD), a civil society initiative, which supports the advancement of people of African descent. Ms. Abrahams is being recognised for her contribution to mental health in the community. Mrs. Selvon Abrahams was similarly recongised by the organisation in 2022.
Ms. Abrahams took the opportunity to present the Minister with a copy of her book Let’s Talk About Feelings.
