Senator the Honourable Dr. Amery Browne, Minister of Foreign and CARICOM Affairs, met with His Excellency Fang Qiu, Ambassador of the People’s Republic of China, at the Ministry of Foreign and CARICOM Affairs on 5th May, 2023.
Minister Browne and Ambassador Fang discussed a range of pertinent issues, including the preparatory work underway to advance the construction of the National Forensic and Pathology Services Centre and the recent donation of disaster response equipment from the People’s Republic of China to the Office of Disaster Preparedness and Management (ODPM).
Minister Browne and Ambassador Fang also exchanged views on the productive cooperation between Trinidad and Tobago and China in regional and multilateral organisations.
